Prior to the construction of Chase Center in San Francisco, where the Golden State Warriors currently play,  the team evaluated building at Pier 30 in San Francisco. As part of this evaluation, MCK provided Construction Management and Owner’s Representative Services to the ownership team. Tasks included the initial project planning, site selection report, cost estimates, permit strategy and design management for the initial potential $100M pier upgrade project. In addition to providing pre-construction services, MCK also provided other support to the Ownership. Ultimately due to various reasons, the Warriors decided to purchase a 12-acre site in Mission Bay where their current home sits. The picture to the right is a rendering of the Pier 30 site.
